• At the 01/02/24 zoning board of appeals meeting, Sean Hopkins on behalf of DATO summarized the project & requested the 5 variances per #4 of the attached agenda.  After his presentation, a number of homeowners spoke against granting the approvals.  However, the chairman of the zoning board pointed out that if they refuse to approve the variances, then DATO can build rental units which do not require any variance approvals.  Sean confirmed that DATO would build rental units.  After the meeting, we discussed the possibility of moving the entrance from Briercliff to Cloverbank with Sean who said he would look into it.  Subsequently, we’ve had correspondence with the traffic engineering firm which stated that their recommendation was to keep the existing entrance on Briercliff.  We will be aggressive pursuing the Cloverbank entrance option.  Waiver of recreation fees is a town board issue which we will address with the town.

• The Power Point presentation of the annual homeowners meeting via Zoom on December 13th is posted under the Minutes/Documents tab.  The budget passed by a vote of 23 to 0.  Don Grundtisch, Kyle Kraus & Matt Maciejewski were elected for 2 year terms as board members. The 2024 dues remain the same as last year ($250/single family homes & $125/duplex).  Please add a note to your calendar to pay by 02/28/24!  Pay your dues via Zelle or mail to: Briercliff Homeowners Association, PO Box 461, Hamburg, NY 14075.

• The minutes from the 03/17/24 board meeting are posted under the Minutes/Documents tab.  The following officers were elected by the board:  President - Don Grundtisch, Vice President - Jeff Crossett & Secretary - Kim Buck.  The second Vice President position is still open - please contact any board member or officer if you're interested.
