  • At the 11/15/23 meeting, the planning board issued a negative declaration which means they believe that the proposed project will not have significant adverse effects on the environment. In addition, the planning stated that DATO has met the required 27 acres of open space based on the original agreement. The next step is for DATO to request variances with the zoning board. If they receive the variances, they will request preliminary plat approval from the planning board.

  • The homeowners association board minutes from 11/12/23 are posted under Minutes/Documents.

  • Annual homeowners meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13th at 7pm via Zoom.  

  • 2024 budget was approved by the board. It was emailed (mailed if no email) to all homeowners on November 13th to approve/disapprove along with ballots for 3 board positions and the Zoom invitation to the annual meeting. 

  • At the 10/04/23 planning board meeting, DATO's attorney stated that they have provided the required 27 acres of open space.  They are requesting a negative declaration & preliminary plat approval.  DATO’s project will be tabled until the 11/15/23 planning board meeting. Waiver of recreation fees is a town board issue which we will address with the town.  See the Blog for more information.

  • The cattails in the eastern end of the large pond have been cleared this fall at a cost of $6k.

  • Architectural guidelines have been published and are included on the Forms tab.

  • Two board positions are open.  In addition, three officer positions (2 vice presidents & secretary) are open.  If anyone is interested, please contact a board member. 

  • Pay your dues via Zelle!  The 2023 dues remain the same as last year ($250/single family homes & $125/duplex) & were due 02/28/23.  If you haven't paid yet, please do so ASAP.  Mail to: Briercliff Homeowners Association, PO Box 461, Hamburg, NY 14075.
